唐蒙恩弟兄是有恩赐的弟兄，创作许多敬拜的诗歌。发行许多专辑，有诗歌本、套谱、CD与DVD可供选择。因此，敬拜团可以在练习之前先看到别人怎　样带领这首诗歌。许多大家耳熟能详的诗歌都出於他的创作，例如「神要开道路」。
唐蒙恩Don Moen是一位恩膏满溢的福音创作者，他写了非常多而且很好听的诗歌，同时他也是美国纯全音乐的创意总监。其实在他的生命当中，有很多很多优美的诗歌却诞生在他生命中的低潮或是很难捱的时刻。
有一次，唐蒙恩接到一通带来一个非常坏消息的电话，原来是他的大姐一家人竟然出了车祸，等到唐蒙恩赶到现场的时候，他的大姐已经失去了他最大的儿子了，我们可以想像一个失去了儿子的母亲会有多么的悲恸。当时的唐蒙恩也不知道该用什么样的话语来安慰他的姐姐，他只能一直一直的祷告，在经过一个晚上的祷告之后，第二天早晨，上帝竟然用圣经上的话来回答他的祷告，那就是在圣经以赛亚书42：19，神说：看哪，我要做一件新事，如今要发现，你们岂不知道吗？我要在旷野开道路，在沙漠开江河。同时上帝也给了他非常优美的旋律，于是这首诗歌就叫做《神要开道路》。
